Justice Jerry Zimmerer serves as the Director of International Arbitration at
the Texas Justice Center, where he leads the Center’s efforts to provide impartial,
efficient, and globally respected arbitration services.

With more than forty years of legal experience, Justice Zimmerer has built a
distinguished career as a trial lawyer, appellate justice, mediator, and arbitrator. He
served on the Fourteenth Court of Appeals of Texas, where he authored
numerous published opinions and contributed to shaping Texas jurisprudence.

Throughout his career, Justice Zimmerer has been a vocal advocate for judicial
integrity, transparency, and professionalism in dispute resolution. In addition to his
judicial service, Justice Zimmerer has extensive experience in complex commercial
litigation, cross-border disputes, and multi-party negotiations.

He is recognized for his ability to bridge cultural and legal differences in international
cases, ensuring fairness and efficiency for all parties. As a respected legal scholar and
thought leader, he frequently lectures on arbitration ethics, hybrid dispute processes,
